The Test
What We Actually Measure
A real analysis, not a sales demo. Here's the panel your technician runs at your sink.
TDS (Total Dissolved Solids)
The overall load of dissolved minerals, salts and metals in your water — a first indicator of how much is actually traveling through your pipes.
Hardness (grains per gallon)
Calcium and magnesium levels. High hardness has been linked to scale buildup, shortened appliance life, and dry skin and hair.
Iron & Manganese
The usual cause of reddish or brown staining in sinks, tubs and laundry, and of a metallic taste.
pH
Acidic water may contribute to corrosion of copper piping and fixtures; alkaline water affects taste and scaling.
Chlorine / Chloramine
Municipal disinfectants that commonly cause the 'pool water' taste and smell at the tap.
Hydrogen Sulfide
The rotten-egg odor most often reported in well water showers.
Contaminant screening
Where indicated, we screen for regionally reported concerns such as PFAS/PFOA, nitrates, and other compounds — and explain what the readings do and do not mean.
Water quality varies by home and location. Results describe your home's water on the day of testing and are not a claim about any municipal supply.
